Degrees of Involvement in Truther Movement

There certainly are different Degrees of Trutherteria. There is the Fourth Degree Truther who simply rightfully distrusts the government and does not understand how the WTC towers could collapse due to impacts and the fires. They are often guilty of failing to read the debunking webpages available online. These include most of those who sign petitions demanding a new investigation or further explanation.
Then, there are Truthers in the First Degree, like Professor Fetzer who still claims that the WTC towers collapsed at a rate "faster than freefall" and who do not reject even the most obviously foolish and false conjectures about 9-11. The 9-11 studies website itself publishes a paper that debunks the assertion that the Towers collapsed as fast as free-fall. Unfortunately, the CORE of the 9-11 movement are First-Degree Truthers who never reject even the most obviously foolish and false conjectures about 9-11. First-Degree Truthers also point to photos of near-ground WTC columns that were obviously torch-cut by clean up workers and declare these were cut by "thermite" or by "explosives". They fail to appreciate that if these columns had been bearing tens of thousands of pounds of building weight at the time they were cut, they would have been impacted and polished or distorted by the impact of the column section above them coming down.
I guess that Second Degree Truthers may include Professor Jones, the Danish Professor, and most of the "Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth" who do reject some of the most absurd and insane and obviously false conjectures, but who tend to flame the fans of ignorance by making their own incompetent contributions to the mass hysteria that sweeps people into Third and Fourth Degree Trutheracy. It is interesting the note that both Professor Jones and the Danish professor have pointed to videos showing aluminum siding panels sailing away from the collapsing WTC towers and declared these thin sheets of metal to be "iron columns". I guess they just did not notice that these "iron columns" did not look like the triple beams of the perimeter walls and were not falling vertically downward with the acceleration of gravity, which a heavy iron column always does. Professor Jones also pointed to the torched columns and declared them to have been cut with "thermite". lol.
I think it would be an interesting study in psychology to probe various Truthers to see which myths they believe in. Or, just do it in an entertaining format, like when Jay Leno asks young people to name the country north of the United States, and they answer Mexico.
